These bold, bright and abstract works adorn the lobby spaces on 4 floors of the Edge modern apartment homes in Sacramento, CA. The Edge is part of a new modern community on the banks of the Sacramento River. A place for gatherings, art, and joyful living.
These two pieces were paired by the owner of this home in Woodside, CA (Silicon Valley) to complement the midcentury motif of the room. Collectors will often select two pieces from my Metaphorical Relationships collection and pair them to their taste and color preferences. I always find it fun to see what unique combinations people see and I love seeing my works paired together. Other works are designed as diptychs intentionally, and others just naturally complement each other.
These two pieces were featured (and sold) at the Modernism annual art show in Palm Springs, CA. They were shipped to New York :-)
These works are pairings that were created to go together. Each of them comes with an accompanying love poem that explores the themes of inter-connection and relationship - and the poems for each pairing speak to each other.
This work was selected for a juried show at Ashton Gallery and is now sold.
This bold and bright yellow work pops off the wall and makes a statement piece in the room! This work lives in New York - I’m happy it found a good home, and is well loved. All my works are a labor of love, so I always enjoy when I get to see their new homes.
These two works belong together like kismet. They each come with an accompanying love poem that speaks to the other. I love this deep dark red - it is so striking and has a lot of soul. Sometimes I get commissioned to create similar works in varying sizes.
Love Worship is a unique piece and design while Family (in yellow) is a rare one that is vertical versus horizontal. I love it’s bright yellow and happy vibe!
A postcard image of some of the works from my popular Metaphorical Relationships collection. These works explore the themes of love and connection through the inter-relationship of abstract form and space. They add vibrancy and positive energy to any space (by design) :-)
These two works adorned the walls in a gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico that has since closed due to Covid. Sanctuary is sold but Offering is still available!
Splendor is one of the works I produce in the color green. It is calm, beautiful, and graceful.
This work sold to a lawyer in San Francisco. Considering it is often gray skies there what a great way to wake up in the mornings to this sunshine piece. This is a rare piece where I invert the color schema. I love how it reminds me of two faces looking into each other which I find very intimate and heart warming when I look at this piece.
This piece is from another body of work called Shadow Stories. This body of work explores the shadow self, and strips down the human form to abstract expression yet keeps the story hidden and also appearing through the interactions of the figures - in this case, where are they going? They are migrating from one place to another, which can be physical or emotional or spiritual. Either way they are on a journey to the next place.
These works were in City Hall as part of a city-wide public arts project. A dozen of these large scale and bright colored works adorned the walls and brought much enjoyment to the city workers!
These two abstract and modernist pieces are bold and striking on the wall, either individually or paired. Comes framed in elegant natural Douglas Fir frame. Acrylic on canvas 48 x 36 inches.
These two works are 40 x 30 inches each framed in a natural wood frame stained in a caramel color. Each is paired with a love poem that accompanies the piece and expands upon the title’s theme. These paintings are exploration of relationship and inter-connection as expressed in abstract form and space. Each piece has multiple layers of paint on them, so you may see some underlayering or brush strokes shine through. It is finished with a soft gloss which creates a shimmering effect in various lighting. These works are timeless in their beauty, bright colored energy, and abstract appeal.
The LA Art Show is a premier 4-day art exhibition in Los Angeles, CA occurring every year, where hundreds of international galleries exhibit artist’s works. Here are some of my works on view in partnership with Fabrik Projects Gallery.
